FARMERS AND THE GOVERNMENT. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Juno 8. The Provincial Executive of tho Farmers’ Union resolved to emphatically protest against the Government placing requisitions for butter on tho market at a very considerable loss . than the cost of production, aaul to point out that this, if persisted in should warrant tho forfeiture of the farming community’s confidence in tho Government.
