The Trades and Labour Council in Masterton. has decided to unite with the Labour party for the purpose of bringing about a universal Saturday halfholiday. . On® case of influenza in Masterton was reported to the health authorities yesterday. There is again a sugar shortage in Masterton.

There is very little unemployment in Masterton at the present time. The annual estimates presented to the meeting of the Masterton Fire Board yesterday totalled ~£1536. an increase ot '.£35 on the previous year.
