The stovemoulders at Metiers, Limited, are returning to work pending the result of a round-table conference between the employers and employees. • As the result of friction- between employers and employees owing to the latter frequently holding stop-work meetings with a view to enforcing their demands, five hundred stovemakers were dismissed by Mottors, Limited, Sydney. The employers became irritated at the repeated interruptions to the work, and thereupon issued dismissal notices.
