BROOKLYN CLUB. INTERESTING COMPETITIONS! TIIO monthly competition of the above club ending May 22nd resulted in. a win for A.’ Paterson in the A class and IB Beavis in the B class. A. I‘ato.rson rs ■leading for the Perkins Cup, being one poirit above 11. Boavie. Laist -wiaek the olab .cmnmeudca pits inter-club matches, keen interest being iixken in them. Some very good shooting was done, especially against South A2, when the Brooklyn A team put up the fine score of 342, or only eight loss than .the possible. In the first match ’against East Al the match was won on . the last shot,. Brooklyn having to register a "bull” to win. The club entertained the Wellington Ladies Llub . after their match on Wednesday last and a very enjoyable evening was spent. Vice-president Mr Ramsay, welcomed the ladies on behalf of the club, they being the first ladies’ club to shoot on the Brooklyn range and shooting under conditions they wore not accustomed to, I put up a very fair performance.
