Tho coastal steamer Huia, which left Wellington last night for AVanganui, is due back boro to-morrow, and will tail again for Wanganui on‘Thursday. Wright. .Stephenson and Co. advise that tho 11 eg ulus, which is to come oil tho AVellington patent slip this morning, will sail this evening direct for Greymouth. 'Die coastal steamer AA’ootton, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Lyttelton, is to sail again for the latter port to-day. Tho Hippie is to sail from Wellington this evening with transhipments for Napier and Gisborne. The vessel will receive town cargo for Akitio. The auxiliary scow Magic is loading piles at the Taranaki street wharf for Tarakohe, is to sail to-day or to-morrow-for that port. After discharge the vessel will go to Sandy Bay to load stone for Wellington.

Tho Putiki, which has been delayed in loading cement at Tarakohe for AVellington since last Friday, was still hold-up yesterday owing to rain. After discharge at AVellington the vessel will load hero for the East Coast stations from White Kook to Blackhead. ' Tho Baden Powell, which sailed from Lyttelton at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington, and was compelled to put back .owing to heavy seas, sailed again for AVellington at 11 a.m. yesterday. The vessel will leave here on Thursday for Nydia Bay to load timber for Lyttel ton. Tho auxiliary scow Echo and the auxiliary schooner May Howard, both cargoladen from AVellington for Blenheim, were still delayed outside the AVairau bar yesterday owing to the bar being exceptionally shallow.
