THE ROYAL TOUR
PRINCE IN THE BENDIGO ALINES (Received June 6, 5.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Juno 5. During hia visit to Bendigo, donning overalls, the Prince of Wales and his staff, accompanied by Air W. AI. Hugnes. and the Minister for Mines, descended the Unity mine. After chatting with the minors tha Prince procured a pick and out out some gold specimens, managing to cut hiit hand while doing so. Ho took occasion during one of the public functions, to declare he was not knocked out by the heavy duties he had undergone.
