The athletic achievements of tho present team aro as follow : Violet Walrond, 15 years of ago, is champion lady swimmer of New Zealand, and holder of 100yds record, with a time of 71sec. At Napier, a few weeks ago, she swam 220yds in 3min 17 2-sseo. George Davidson is tho 100yds and 220 yds running champion of tho Dominion, He has been accredited with covering 100yds in 9miu 4-ssec on two occasions, thus equalling the records of tho great amateurs J. 11. Hempton and W. T MaoPherson, in Now Zealand, as the best for Australasia.

Darcy Hadfield is. the winner of the Xnter-Alliod Armies’ Sculling Championship while on service in France. In England he earned the title to lie considered tho greatest of liking amateur oarsmen in the world.

H. E. Wilson is the representative from Wellington. Ho is the champion hurdler of Now Zealand and Australasia, and also of tho British Army. He will act as the manager of the team. Mr Cecil Bruce Walrond accompanies his daughter as guardian, and also ns honorary trainer to tho team. ’ He will also bo available, if necessary', as assistant manager. At Sydney', where tho New Zealand Olympic team will join the Enrpides, en route for Antwerp, the members will be entertained by the Australian Olympic Council, which has promised a "real good time” to tho athletes from tho Dominion.
