Juno 2, The continued influx of Asiatics has led the Auckland watcrsidere. to a decision not to .work after a certain date, vessels carrying such people, says a Press Association telegram received last night. This decision ha s been con. reyed to the Advisory Board of the Transport "Workers Eederatiou for its consideration. : A leading officer of the Wateraidera' Union this morning stated that the position was reaching what he considered to ho an acute stage. The decision was carried, as a protest to the. continuous strem of Chinese and Hindus pouring into the Dominion. “The Chinaman,” he added, “is fast ousting the white man in the retail fruit trade, and the Hindus have gained such a footing that they are now able to do a good business by hawking butted for sale front door to door.
