MUCH ELECTION RIOTING. Australian and Habit* Association. BERLIN, Juno 3. • The election campaign is characterised by much rioting in various centres. Von Graefe, a well-known Conservative Deputy, was brutally illtreated at a meeting in Mecklenburg, where the tension is exceptionally great. Several land-owners and their families fled to Berlin. It is reported that the agricultural labourers are plotting to expel landlords and divide the estates. The Government has, promulgated an edict forbidding private enlistment in the new military corps under a penalty of five years’ imprisonment.
