RETIRED FARMER MISSING. A Frees Association message from Timaru states that on Tuesday afternoon a retired farmer, named William Geddes, 55 years of ago, living in Timaru, went fishing on the eastern mole staging, and did not return at 4 p.m. that day. A fishing rod and bag were found on the staging near tho outer end this morning. Mrn Geddee reported her husband as missing, and a diligent search has been made, without result. A considerable so.v wan running yesterday, and it is concluded that tho missing man was washed off the stagimr.
