DRIVERS AND CITY COUNCIL.
A well-attended mooting, of the Drivers’ Union was held last night, Mr A. Brown, the president, occupying the chair. It was -resolved that the’ dispute with the City Council with regard to the wages and working conditions of corporation drivers be referred to a council of conciliation.-.
