ENGLISH FOOTBALLERS
TEAM FOB FIRST MATCH IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright (Received June 2, 10.50 p.m.) .« . -SYDNEY, June 2. , The English football team for the first match will be Full-back, Thomas; three-quarters, Stockwell, Vvagotaff, uurcomb, and Stone; half-backs, Rogers and Parkin; forwards, Cunlifl'e, Mills, Gronow, Johnson, Gallagher, and Clark. THE FIXTURES. (Received June 3. 1.15 a.m.) SYDNEY. June 2. The Rugby League has decided to play an English match on Saturday nest. It has altered the other English fixtures. The team plays at Orange on June 9th, at Sydney against New Sonth Wales on June 12th and 16th, Brisbane against Australia on June 23rd. The other two test matches will be played in July. The dates have not yet been fixed.
