The weather was fine, for the final gallops at'Ellerslio this AU work of importance was done on No- 1 grass track, which was a bit heavy. . Parisian Diamond, with the assistance of Asterina over the last fix, ran seven, furlongs in lmin 37sec. Te Oro, with Colour Sergeant over the last five, covered sis furlongs in lmin 2-i l-ssec. Kareao, Ruddy, and Ngata went five furlongs in lmin" 9sec. Tc-basco beat Llansannor over six. furlongs in lmin. 25sec, and Lady Ball and Golden Bubble did the same distance in the same time.. Taunaha.and Cashmere together did. seven furlong 3in lmin 35sec. Omahu ' and Lochella covered six furlongs in lmin 27soc. Trespass was better than Alteration over a mile in lmin 54sec. Beeaur, and Blue Cross did six furlonge in lmin 23sec and King Abbey the same distance in lmin 22 2-ssec Pendoon, Lord Nagar and Cynic went a mile and a quarter, the last round taking Srnin 2 2-oseo. The latter pair pleased. Salvaless beat Crowhurst over six furlongs in lmin 23sec. Queen Abbey did six furlongs, the last four in 55sec.
A lot did schooling work. Deviation, Middiemark, Ma Copper, and Scrubber jumped four hurdles in good style. Lnperino jumped two hurdles, and then did strong work. St. Carl and Glenspiro did four hurdles, and Oakleigh the big fences in the centre of the course. Graftella, Attila, and Gladwin were sent over four hurdles, the former doing best. Thigathin, Argentum. and Shell Shock, jumped four hurdles, and Old Mungindi Gladful, and Sir Solo went a round of the big country. The latter fell at the first fence on the hill, and the others fenced well First Call, Garryowen, Monopol. and Capsal did the same task, and Capsal fell at the brush. Sir Solo joined in at the top of the hill and completed the journey safely- He fenced well. AUS RAMAN TURF .£IO,OOO FOR ROYAL MEETING.
