FRENCH CAUSE HEAVY TURKISH LOSSES. Keuter's Telegram. LONDON, May 31. Advices from Beirut state that during the- fighting, which, resulted in tho French occupying Ain-Tab, after routing a strong entrenched contingent of Turkish regulars, 1200 of the'enemy were killed, and manv prisoners and much war booty captured.
