LEAGUE FOOTBALL
MANAGEMEiNT COMMITTEE. The management committee of the Wellington iuigbv Footoall League met last evening, Mr F. .C. Evans presiding. There were also present: Messrs Martin, Summers, Woolfo, Craason, J., and C. Murphy, O'Connell, Duncan. The Nie-w Zealand Council requested the League to arrango to procure the Basin Reserve for the English match.— It was decided to write the City Council as requested. The Hawke's Bay League -wrote suggesting the first week in July for the return match against the Wellington team. —The date was approved of provided the Basin Reserve could be procured. FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY. Matches will be played on Saturday at follow s—• Seniors.—Athlotio T. Newtown, Newtown Park, 3 p.m.; Mr Bradley. Suburbs v. Petone, Petone Park, 3 p.m.; Mr A. House. .
Juniors.—Central v. Petone, Emmerson street; Mr Evans. Rovers v. Athletic, Hiitt Park; Mr Duncan. Suburbs v. Petone -North, Petonie Park, 2 p.m.; Mr Langrish
