MOVING MOUNTAIN
THREATENS DESTRUCTION OF ■WELSH MINING VILLAGE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 31, 8.50 p.m.) LONDON, May 31. A moving mountain is threatening the destruction of forty houses at the Maerdy ' coal-min:ng village in Glamorganshire, Wales, on a branch ol tho Taff Vale railway. The pressure is bulging walls and lifting floors.
