TRADE COMMISSION

REPORT COMPLETED. The report of the Trade Commission which accompanied members of Parliament on their recent visit to Samoa and other islands of the Pacific, lias boon completed, and has been handed to the Prime Minister by tho chairman, Mr George Elliott, of Auckland. It will bo sent forward to tho Gov-ernor-General, and in due course will bo dealt with by Cabinet. Many important matters effecting trade in the Pacific are traversed in the report, which may bo expected to have n. marked influence on Now Zealand's future relations with tho islands in general.
