GENERAL. A motion was passed expressing regret at the untimely death of the late Dili'. Fyflo, for many years one of the club's vice-presidents. A letter was received from the Auckland Kennel C'ljib .urging, the advantages of all' kennel clubs combining for uie issuo of a standardised prize schedule. The chief reason put forward was the saving id cost to each club. Alter discussion tho matter was referred to tho, committed lor consideration. -Messrs A. W. IS lair and A. H. Collins were appointed to make an endeavour to obtain a certain favourable place for the holding of the nest annual show. . I’t was moved by Mr S. H. Hastall and seconded by Mr Barlow Wills that for tho consideration of delegates at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Kennel Club, 1020, the following'addition bo made to rule 20, page 2u —Tho breeder of any dog that has been awarded a championship certificate may, by applying to tho Kennel Club, and upon such application being approved bv the executive, receive a gold medal providing that each dog has been duly registered in the New Zealand Kennel Club studbook, together with its sire and dam. dn accordance with rule 18, page 4, tho. fco for such registration being ss. The Kennel Club’s Breeders’■ championship gold medal will be available only to the breeders of those dogs which are awarded championship certificates from August Ist, IJ2I. It -was pointed out by the mover of the resolution that this rule would act as an encouragement to breeders by giving them an interest in all dogs that they breed, no matter into whose hands they may pass. Breeders had little enough encouragement, and _ the proposal would he found by the New .Zealand Kennel Club to more than pay for itself from the greater number'of registration fees it would attract.

■ The resolution was adopted unanimously.
