Forty well-known shots, including several gold and silver medallists are participating in tho Bisley trials. BRITISH TEAM .FOR AUSTRALIA.
■ (Received May 30, 11.40 p.m.) LONDON, May 29. The following riflemen;. have_ been ed lected 'to visit , Australia: Lieut.-Col, Richardson, commandant; Major Mont ro, adjutant; A. Garrod, captain; W, Gray, lieutenant"; A. Martin, F. Morton, H. Northcote, Major E. Parnell, Major Pixley, A. Rowland, J. A, Smith, Capt. T. Smith, F. C. Thompson, H. T. Wood. Thirty-three candidates competed at Bisley for inclusion in tho team, firing over ranges from 300 to 1000 yards. Lt.-Col. Richardson, on being interviewed, said he was satisfied ho had got a fine team together, drawn from the Navy, Army and tho Air Force. The team is to sail in the Demosthenes .via tile Capo on August Ilth, and "will finish its 'tour at the end .of November. Wallace attended the tests. He and Lt.-Col. Richardson will complete the itinerary as soon as Wallace receivci the date for the Federal match at Ado. laido. Garrod is the team's squadron leader. The reserve members are J, L. Dewar, Captain H. Douglas, Petty. Officer W. Gray and E. McCue.
