The Commiasary' lor the Maintenanco of Order, in a statement to the .Press, says that while the rumours of a coming revolution have a basis of reality, they are much exaggerated. The only party openly threatening violent action is the communistic Labour party. The chief danger from the latter in that it might cause s reaction among rho other parties. " On tho other hand, the “Ereihoit” and “Tageblatt” declare that a revolution by night. is imminent. The “Tageblatt” adds; “A list has been drawn up of Democratic and Socialist leaders and Jewish notables who arc to ho slaughtered.” “Vonvaens” states That tho signal for tho revolution will come from tho East!’ Tho “Volkszeitung” says: “All volunteer formations will march tc Berlin. Over a hundred thousand volunteers are ready to rise. Trucks ol military equipment arc leaving Berlin daily for ■ East Prussia.”
