SOME NEW DEPARTURES. United Service Telegram, LONDON, May 29. Tho “Yorkshire Observer” says that n,n effort is being made in Manchester to start wool sales through the dock warehouses, and the Old Trafford replacing tho Liverpool auctions. It - is pointed out that Manchester offers to wool ships numerous chances of profitable back loading. An experiment is also being made at present with the establishment of a. selling: and distributing centre at Hull, but whether it will bo continued after tho Government sales are completed depends on tho attitude-of the Bradford-trade. • •
