GERMANY MUST PAY
REPARATION FOR FRANCE,

Tho French Chamber of Deputies carried a vote of confidence in M, Millerand after his explanation of tho Entente’s indemnity policy. Franco’s bill for reparations compiled to date equals sixty-six milliards of gold .marks. Franco was not disposed to withdraw from the occupied areas, and tho Allies admitted the principle of occupation if Germany broke her engagements. Jt would bo scandalous if Germany did not tho debt -to which sho pledged herself at Versailles. She must pay for all tho losses sho had inflicted.
