The Wiikatu, duo hack at Wellington to-morrow night from Lyttelton and Kaikoura, will lay up hero on arrival for her overhaul.
Johnston and Co. advise that the Ripple will leave Wellington this evening for Akitio only. Owing to the Waitangi being bar-bound at Patea yesterday ber departure from Wellington for Patea has been postponed till 2 p.m. to-morrow. The Port Alma was to leave Now York on Tuesday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
The Ayrshire is to sail front London on Juno 26th for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin.
The Port Stephens is due to leave New York on next Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. The auxiliary schooner Isabella _de .Frame, formerly owned by J. J. Craig, Ltd., has been purchased by the East Coast Shipping Company. She will in future be employed in the Auckland-Tnuranga-Te Puke trade. Captain JWilliamson, late of the schooner Fairburn, has been appointed master. She left Auckland on her maiden trip under her new owners for Tauranga on Wednesday. The steamer Putiki is due at Wellington on Wednesday from Tarakohe with a cargo of cement. The steamer John arrived at Wanganui on Saturday morning from Dunedin, 1 imam and Oamaru. The vessel is to leave Wanganui to-day for Greymouth to load timber for Wellington. The Komata is duo back at, Wellington on Wednesday with a load of coal from Westport. The vessel is timed to leave here next Friday on the return trip to Westport,’ taking passengers. The Kini left Onehunga at 6.30 a.m. yesterday for Wellington, where she is due this afternoon for the purpose of replenishing her bunkers. The vessel will sail to-morrow for Picton to load produce for Onehunga. The Koroma lot Wellington at 5.35 p.m. on Saturday for Greymouth to load coal for New Plymouth, but was obliged to put hack owing to stress of weather, yhe vessel will sail again this morniug if the weather is favourable.
The Mapourika left Wlmngorei on Saturday morning with cement for Napier and Wellington. The vessel is to leave Napier this afternoon for Wellington, ami is duo here to-morrow afternoon- After discharge the Mapourika will load hero for New Plymouth. After being lar-bonnd at Greymouth, the Rosamond left that port yesterday morning for Westport and Wellington. The vessel is due here on Wednesday. The Corinna is expected r.t Wellington to-morrow from New Plymouth, and is to sail in the evening direct lor Dunedin with general cargo. It is probable that the vessel will proceed from Dunedin direct to New Plymouth to load dairy produce for transhipment to a Homo liner at Wellington. The Waikawa is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Auckland and San Francisco. The vessel will not be available for any Weilinglon-Aucklahdi cargo. The Kowhai is to leave Wellington tonight for Greymouth to load coal for Timaru.
The Canterbury Co-’s steamer Calm will sail from Wellington, to-day with general cargo for Lyttelton and Timaru. The Blackball Coal Co.'s steamer Ngahere was delayed at Wellington on Saturday. and is now expected to leave hero to-day for Grey mouth. The Stella is now timed to leave Dunedin to-morrow cargo-laden for Wellington, where she is due on Thursday. Captain J. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the steamer Narenta, which is coming to New Zealand to load for Home, left Fremantle on Saturday for Gisborne. The vessel is duo at Gisborne on June Bth. THE CITY OP WINCHESTER. The N.Z. and African Company .have received cable advice that the A. and A. Lino chartered steamer City of Winchester left New York on May 23rd cargoladen for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland on Juno 34th and at Wellington about June 29th. WAIHORA PROM NEWCASTLE: The Union Co.’s steamer Waihora, which loft Newcastle last Wednesday coal-laden for 'Wellington, is expected to arrive here to-morrow evening. THE MOKOIA. Tho Union Co. advise that the Mokoia will now leave Wellington at 5 p.m. today for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay, and Auckland. She will receive only transhipment cargo for Auckland. The Monowai. leaving Wellington next week, will take town cargo for Auckland. PALOONA FOR MELBOURNE. Tho Union Company advise that tho Paloona, taking passengers and cargo, will not leave Wellington before next Saturday direct for Melbourne. Tho vessel is to leave Lyttelton on Friday evening for Wellington, on route from Melbourne, as Thursday will bo a holiday and she will arrive hero on Saturday morning. GALLIC PUTS TO SEA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the steamer Gallic, which was loading in the Waitara roadstead, was compelled to put to sea at 11 a.m. on Friday owing to a heavy gale. THE RARAWA. Levin and Co., local agents for tho Northern Company, advise that tho weekend trip of the Rarawa was cancelled. The vessel is now timed to leave One hunga at 3 p.m. to-day for New Plymouth, and is to sail from {he latter port on tho return trip to-morrow night. AMAGISAN MAEU. The Japanese steamer Amagisan Maru arrived at Auckland from Newcastle on Wednesday night, and berthed at the Central wharf on Thursday morning. She left Newcastle on Thursday week with S3CO tons of coal for Auckland, and met fairly heavy seas on tho way over. The vessel, tho property of. Messrs Mitsui and Company, Kobe, sailed. originally from Milke, tho most important of the Japanese coal ports, taking only three weeks on the journey to Newcastle. The vessel ia about fifteen years .pJil, and. .was
originally a British steamer. She is under the command of Captain H. Yagi. It is expected that she will be at Auckland about a week, and will then return to Newcastle, where she will load for Singa-' pore.
SOMERSET ’ DUE TO-DAY The liner Somerset, cn route from St. John, left Attckland at 10.50 a.m. on Saturday for Wellington, where she is due this afternoon with part cargo to discharge. The vessel is expected to leave here about Friday for Lyttelton and Dunedin with remainder of cargo. lONIO IN POET. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic, from London and Southampton via Panama and Auckland, arrived at Wellington yesterday morning at 9 o’clock, and berthed at the King's wharf to put out part cargo. The vessel is to leave here next Saturday for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to discharge remainder of cargo. ZEALANDIC FROM LIVERPOOL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. advise that the' liner Zeaiaudic, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Auckland, is to leave the latter port to-night or to-mor-row morning for Wellington. The Vessel is due here on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to put out part cargo. MANUKA LEFT SYDNEY. The Union Company’s steamer Manuka left Sydney at 1.15 p.m. on Saturday with passengers and cargo for Wellington. The vessel is duo here on Wednesday, and instead of going to Lyttelton will remain at Wellington till she sails for Sydney and Hobart next Friday-. THE PAPAROA. The N.Z. and African Company advise that the liner Faparoa, now discharging Liverpool cargo at Auckland, is not expected to arrive at Wellington before next Monday. WESTMEATH LETT PANAMA. Cable advice has been received by the N.Z. and African Company that the liner Westmeath left Panama on May 20th, en route from Liverpool to New Zealand ports. The vessel is due at Auckland on June 17th and at Wellington about June 22nd. CANADIAN EXPORTER. Murray, Robert® and Co. are in receipt of cable advice that the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Exporter left Hobart on Thursday afternoon direct for Wellington, in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver via Australia. The message states that the vessel has 84,000 feet of timber from Australia and 300 tons of Vancouver and Australian general cargo to discharge at Wellington. The Canadian Exporter is due here to-mor-row. After discharging she will load hero and at Auckland for Vancouver.
