Tho "Daily Telegraph" states that tho attempt to establish a Rhineland Republic led to adverse manifestations. Several correspondents describe tho effort as a fiasco. Separatist movements are afoot in Hanover and Bavaria, and active propaganda is progressing in: favour of-a'-republic comprising -East; and AA r est Prussia.
BERLIN, June 3. The German Government has issued an order for tho arrest of the President of tho Rhine Republic. CORLENZ, Juno 3.
A general strike has been ordered in the American area of occupation, with the object o'f protesting against a llhineland Republic. Tho American military suppressed the strike in a few hours.
