SOLDIERS FOR SEED RAISING
Press Association. DUNELUN, Juno i. A deputation from the Utago Repatriation Hoard to-day waited on the Hon W.'D. S. MacDonald urging ttie desirability of providing outdoor work for soldiers, especially those partly disabled, by adopting a scheme ior raising seed in Central Otago, which it was claimed was especially suitable for tho purpose. The .Minister said he would get a reoort as u> the suitability of Central Otngo- for tho purpose mentioned. At a meeting of the South Canterbury Development League this evening a paper was read by 7\[r J. Anstey, .M.P.. in ndvornev of :i State farm district to experiment chiefly on seedgrowing. Karmcrs present thought favourably of tho sirigrstion and thp meting .decided to urge it upon tho CiovcTiiineiit.
