INVERCARGILL, Juno 3. A well-known farmer, of Drummond, Mr William Edward Ward, nged 52, left homo yesterday to inspect cattle, and failed to return. After a search his dead body was discovered in a gravel pit containing 6ft of water. He leaves a widow and six children.
