TWO MARRIED WOMEN JAILED. Press Association. PALMEitSION NORTH, June 2. Two married women, one with five children, and one elderly, with no children, both residents of VVoodville, were to-day sentenced to one month s jail each on four chargee of shop-lifing. The accused had worked on a systematic plan ~of visiting several shops. Roth pleaded guilty, anticipating probation.

There was a tragic scene when they were sentenced, fhe women making a piteous appeal for mercy. One fainted, and the other was helped from the court.
