Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 2. ' The heavy gales which raged in the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean last week delayed several vessels. The large collier Barwon, which loft Newcastle on May 21st, had a very rough trip of nine days. Although swept by heavy seas, only minor damage was done on deck. Tho Australian steamer Glauous, which arrived hero on Friday, from Surprise Island, was considerably delayed. The coastal steamers Putiki and Breeze, which left Wellington last Wednesday, encountered heavy gales, and had to shelter at Akaroa, arriving at Dunedin yesterday morning.
