MORE UNDEFENDED PETITIONS

' Further undefended divorce petitions came before His Honour the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) in the Supreme Court on Saturday. CONNOR v. CONNOR.

Robert Henry Clement Connor, who was represented by Air L, Cohen (Wanganui) alleged misconduct against his wife, Clara Josephine Connor. It was stated that the parties were married in 1903, and that there were three children. Walter Dinnie. inquiry agent, gave evidence as to misconduct of the respondent with a ship’s officer named James Brown.

A decree nisi was granted, with costs against the co-respondent.

AIAHONEY v. MAHONEY.

Misconduct was also alleged by Charles Srfuthwell Mahoney (Mr H. F. von Haast) against Minnie Barbara Mahoney. Petitioner said that the wife left him in 1918 and he had since ascertained that she had been living with a coloured man named King. Evidence was given, by Bert William iMunns, inquiry agent, that the respondent and King were living together as Air and Mrs King. A decree nisi was gtantod, with costs against King. YOUNG v. YOUNG.

Ruth Isabella Young (Mr E. P. Hay) said that her husband, Eric Balfour Young, had been living at Barrett’s Hotel with another woman. When the licensee was informed of this ho immediately ordered Young to leave the house.

A decree nisi was granted, with interim custody of the one child of the marriage, to the petitioner. DUNCAN r. DUNCAN.

In asking for a dissolution of her marriage with Archibald Campbell Duncan, Jsannie Daviaa Duncan (Mr H. F. von Haaati said she was married In 1904, and there were twe children. Respondent went te the war, ars4 on his return he was convicted of haring carnal knowledge 6f a girl under 16 years of age. A decree nisi was granted, with costa against respondent.
