•eporlnd. In Queensland the deaths so far total about 90. The disease maintains « strong hold in Brisbane, and many new cases are reported. The public services and business generally are suffering materially. The Royal Agricultural Show has been abandoned. In Victoria the epidemic maintains about the average of recent weeks of deaths. Yesterday there were sixteen deaths in the country areas.
