BURNING IN SILESIA
WIDESPREAD OPPOSITION TO “POLISH SLAVERY.”

A correspondent of the “Daily Chronicle” visited Silesia, where he found the fire of revolt burning among one and 11-half millions out of the population of two millionn.
Despite rain and cold, demonstrations were made against the proposal to giro the Silesian mines to Poland. It was pointed out that tho sentiments of 'the people overwhelmingly support this attitude. A German leader declared that the entire working class was preparing to defend its home and soil.

They will not submit to control by people of .a-lower culture. A Polish attempt at the occupation of Silesia will precipitate - a- bitter, bloody war.”
