The correct story of the Home disaster i» that two Handley Page machines flew from Marseilles. The first landed successfully at the Centocolle aerodrome, but the second, in endeavouring to avoid the first, struck a big tree and crashed into a deep trench. Lieutenant Prince Spratt was killed, Colonel Lawrence broke an arm, and a mechanic was slightly wounded.
