BOLSHEVIKS ENTIRELY EXPELLED

Tho -‘Daily Telegraph’s" correspondent at Geneva slates that the Russian Bolsheviks have been expelled from the whole of Northern Ukraine, and also from a largo section of the right bank of the Dnieper. The Ukrainian Revolutionary Committee at Eilacerkua lias assumed tho direction of three anti-Bolshevik armies under Grigorieff, Delenoy, and Sokolovsky. Although the. committee is Bolshevik in tone, it is bitterly opposed to the Russian Bolsheviks’ interference, and is energetically attempting to drive them out. ANTI-BOLSHEVIKS SHORT OF AMMUNITION. BOLSHEVIKS ADVANCING ON , MERV. , LONDON. May 29. The Australian Press Agency learns that anti-Bolshevik insurgents in the Upper Don, to the number of 25,C00, are, suffering from a shortage of ammunition, medical stores, and lack of officers. They hope to join General Denekin, who has already cut the Bolshevik linos to the northern front. The Bolsheviks defeated the _ Transcaspian troops, and are advancing on Merv. Tho situation there' is serious, as the ripening crops are falling into the Bolsheviks’ hands. On the other Russian front the Bolsheviks are retreating. The bad discipline of the troops has_ compelled the reintroduction of stringent military regime. The Bolsheviks are rushing reinforcements to Gatchina to protect Petrngrad against the Northern Russians and Esthonians. Fierce fighting is anticipated. ESTHONIANS ADVANCING ON NARVA. LONDON, Mav 27. A -wireless message from Moscow states that the Bolsheviks have abandoned Gdov (on the east of Lake Peipus, in Livonia) and retired to now positions to the south. Bolshevik warships bombarded villages north of Narva. The Esthonians are advancing in the direction of Jamburg and Narva. They captured an armed train, many machine guns, and 1300 prisoners.
