Mr James Roberts, secretary of the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Federation, imormed a- “New Zealand Times ’ representative yesterday trial the votes from two or three of trio waterside unions at otner ports in the recent Dominion balloting (as to whetner the employers’ offer for a rise in wages should be accepted) had yet -to-come to hand. As. soon as these Are received the counting of the votes will proceed. Mr . James Roberts has been appointed returning officer and the scrutineers are Messrs L. Glover and VV. Currie,
