QUEENSLAND WATER SIDERS’ ATTITUDE.
SYDNEY, May 28. The Watersiders’ Federation nas received advices from its Brisbane branch than the men in Brisbane are prepared to work inter-Stato cargo from oversea ships, provided that such cargo is loaded entirely by watersiders’ labour. It is unlikely that the owners will agree to this, -as it would mean the abandonment of preference to loyalists, who are at present loading oversea steamers.
