N.Z. SOLDIERS IN EGYPT
RETURN PROBABLY IN JUNE AND JULY. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, May 28. Sir James Allen stated to-day that there were about two thousand New Zealand soldiers in Egypt, and. a thousand of these are. expected home hi June, and the other thousand in July. Sir James Allen said that this' . r.: s not definite, because the transhipment of troops depended on the shipping available, and because further trouble in Egypt might cause the soldier* to be detained.
