AUCKLAND FAIUIKHS’ FKGPO'SAXf. Press .Association. AUCKLAND, May 18. The Auckland Provincial runners' Unions to-day passed unanimously a number of remits advocating a progressive development policy on the part of tho Government in the dlioction of developing the idle lands of the Dominion in order to increase the output of primary products of the country. It was recommended that comprehensive reports be prepared ot all the unused lands of tho Dominion by special boards in each land distinct acting in conjunction with the Commissioner of Crown Lands. Iho boards would bo required to make recommendations as to the "best and quickest method of bringing the lands into production.
