A meeting of the management commituxj of die - Wellingtoa n-i.goy union was aeid last evening. There were present: Messrs- W. IV iiornig (ohaifcmknj. A. Junnitiis,.U. Jackson,, 3. ju, auuard,,- E. Terry, M. Buck, J, Lundon, E. it. Ward, tt, .w, 'Cook, and T. H. Jones (secretary).
Messrs A. S. Patekson and Co. applied for -permission to piay a house maton oetween teams representing Levin and Company and A.. S. Paterson and Company oh Kelburn Park. As, the - oommittee has no control over Kelburn’Park it was decided to grant the applicants a ground on Athletic -Park tor this (Wednesday) afternoon at a'-ieo ot 195.It was.’decided to agree to a match between. the Government. Life Insurance and Public Trust Office teams being played oh Athletic Park as, a curtain-raiser, to-the Pioneer' (native) Battalion game against Wellington on June ;3rd- . . The Porirua Club applied for and was granted l affiliation- with the union- -on be understanding that home and home matches be played.. ■ Mr, W.
