Tlie nominations for the Victoria ColLye Council closed at the end of last week. The following candidates, being the only ones nominated in their con--01 uem-ie=. are declared duly elected ; of Certificated Teachers—William .Albert Evans. Roil of Members of Education Hoards—Richard McCallnm. Loll of Court of Convocation—Clement Watson and Phineas Levi. No nomination was received for the vacancy caused l.v the retirement of the representative of t-c-hers in the secondary school ami technical dav schools. The following ruminations were received for the roll of governing bodies of secondary schools:Thomas Eorsyth. William Dinwiddie, Thomas Earner Ilodder. As in this e- Stanly one member is required, an election will take place on Saturday, June 7th. The poll will close at 5 p.m. on that date. EDITOR’S COMMENT ON "FLUENZOL." A: Wanganui resident has offered what is said to he a "sure cure for influenza” to the Government for ,£SOOO.
