ATTRACTIVE FARMS
f A visit to'the' fertile Hannah just now is particularly infonnative. AIT along the Aokautere and Te.Ma-tai flats embraced by these esiatcs is wonderful feed, when the- recent drought is taken into consideration, while six teams are at work ploughing, grading, cultivating, and sowing, though in . many other districts a plough, can scarcely bo put into the ground. Close investigations reveal the nature of the soil, much of which is real river deposit, kindly and genetous in its nature, and .capable of enormous possibilities when subjected to the more intensive cultivation used only in closer settlement. From the vintage ground ot the Fitzherberc foothills .the ten houses may also be seen nestling against their, shelter belts, while numerous sheds and barns are also visible. These latter will, m several instances, ho sold, with the right of removal to other less favoured sections. Abraham and Williams, J/td., with experience only gathered by years, have ‘excelled themselves in the “intricate 'work of subdivision by allotting to each of the twenty-six farms as many natural and artificial advantages as possible. Thus it is that each section has abundant shelter and water available, while houses and barns . are distributed in the most equable manner, and easy access to every farm afforded. This firm is now showing interested parties over, the ©states, and plans are tree to all inquirers from any .. branch. The sale date is set down -for. June 11th, and the easy terms axe singularly attractive to tbe man ot moderate means, being only lo per Coni, down, 10 per cent, in two years (oi improvements), while the balance may remain tor seven years at only pi per cent.
