England* arrived in. Wellington and brought, letters of introduction to 'him.... iroin one of the largest iron manufacturing firms m Wales (England;. My father accompanied tho two "agents' to' the 'Parapara, and they spent some time there in thoroughly examining the deposits, and in ooraining all other intormation that would ■be necessary, ja case .irgn works were to be.establisjied,. , w returned to .Wellington. .. Mv..iather was informed that they could not disclose what information they would give to their principals, but told him that ho would be informed as early as possible..after,their return. In due course information . came to my ' father. The iron is'still there, and is likely to be until science lias-found a way ot getting rid of the undesirable mixtures -the ore containst HENRY H.
