Occupying an elevated position, in tho midst of charming pfrounds, the exterior of "Stonejlitirsft" is no less inviting than the interior. . Considerable expense has been incurred in the furnishing', whioh is of the most tasteful description. And there is an air of refinnment about tho place that appeals to fastidious people who like "nice" surroundings. A more comfortable and desirable temporary (or permanent) home than "Stonehurst' 1 m not to bo found in Auckland.
