(Received May 22, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, May ‘M. Mr Austen Chamberlain, in the House of Commons, said that the nett cost of the war to Britain, excluding normal Peace expenditure and loans to the Allies and Dominions, to the end of March was 6700 millions sterling.
