RHODES SCHOLARSHIP
Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 22. Advice was received to-day that the selection of the New Zealand Rhodes scholar has been postponed till October Sth in order to give students on active service an opportunity to present their claims for the position. In reference to the 1851 scholarship a somewhat similar award was made. The University Senate, which meets in Wellington this week,, is expected to postpone the award for a considerable time.
