In the Supreme Court AVilliam Montague Davenport Howes, aged seventy years, was found guilty of an unnatural offence and sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment. .... , . Mr Justice Stringer' said it was his duty to segregate the Accused from docent human beings. He realised that the accused would probably die m tail, but be could appeal to the Prisons Board if he wished. ■ He would have been entitled to send the accused, tc jail for life.
