MEETING OF THE BOARD.

The Wellington Harbour Board net tut evening when the following wore present : —Messrs J. G. Harkness (in the chair), O. M. Turroll, C. E. Daniell, )V. Cable, C. H. Chapman. M. W. Welch. J. W. MoEwan, J. G. Cobbe, R. E. Sinclair. R. A, "Wright, M.P., and Captain C. McArthur; The following financial statement was presented!—Bank pass books: Currant account, .credit balance, .£33,711 14& 7d: imprest account, credit balance, £3B9(', 9s 8d ; on fixed deposit, 2/60,000. Payments; For accounts and wages, £34,923 8s 4d; for salaries for May, £llls 10s 2d; total, £36,088 18s 6d. Messrs Chapman, Norwood, and Wright were appointed the board's representatives at a conference of chambers of commerce and local bodies to be held in Wellington about the end of June 1919.
