CHRISTCHURCH, May 21. . The Rhodes scholar, who will enter Oxford in October, 1920, will be elected next Tuesday. Thp Canterbury College candidate is Norman Macdonald Richmond, 8.A., son of tho late Mr W. M. Richmond, solicitor. An 1351 Exhibition Scholarship, the award of which has been suspended daring the wai, is also offered by tho New Zealand University this year. The candidate from Canterbury College is Eric Arnold Rowe, M.Sc., son ct Mr T. W. Rowe, the well-known Christchurch solicitor.
