Address by ex-commissioner
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 13 (delayed). Mr Johnson, ex-Commissionor of Railways for New South Wales, in an address at the Colonial Institute, outlined the development of the railways in the various States of Australia, particularly the trans-continental railway, which proved its utility during the war. The , trains, he said, compare well with the best long-distance trains in the world.
