The Broken Hill mining dispute i» more serious. The unionists are now threatening that unless all the men cease work immediately the mines will bo picketed.

BIG PAY AND SHORT HOURS
DEMANDED

A meeting of the Amalgamated Me talliferous Affiliation at Broken Hill has decided to call out all its members until their demands are conceded, including 20s daily for a, five-day week of six hours a day. • ■ • The executive declared its roadiness to stand a long strike.
