HOTEL DESTROYED. Pre*!* Af»9onintlon. INVERCAUGILL, May 19. A fire occurred at Otautau at one o'clock on Sunday morning, completely destroying O'Brien's Grown Hotel, tho Loan Company's offices, and stores and sample rooms ronted by tho licensen. The firo began in tho sample rooms, which hnd not been occupied for two davs. Tho insurances arc-—Hotel. £1550. furniture .£6OO, stock £475: sample rooms, £600; Loan Company's stock £OOO.
